About this product

The Marmot Limestone Lanai is a freestanding screen shelter designed for camping, sized to fit over a standard picnic table and offering 109.8 square feet of covered floor area. Its 100% polyester taffeta canopy blocks sun and keeps insects out, while vertical walls provide a generous 85 inches of peak height for comfortable standing room throughout. Three large zippered doors give flexible entry and ventilation options, and can be closed to improve stability when wind picks up. Four Velocity HD aluminum poles, measuring 12 millimeters in diameter, set up quickly via a sleeve-and-clip combination system. Corner guyout attachment points add extra security in breezy conditions, and an interior laundry line lets you hang wet gear or clothing to dry. The shelter packs down to 9.1 by 24.4 inches and weighs 11 lbs. 8.8 oz. (12 lbs. 4.5 oz. packaged), and includes stakes, a stake sack, guylines, guyline adjusters, and a pole repair tube.

What people are saying

Reviewers consistently praise the Marmot Limestone Lanai Shelter for its generous interior space, with nearly 110 square feet of floor area and an 85-inch peak height that lets most adults stand fully upright. The ability to fit over a standard campground picnic table is frequently highlighted as a standout feature. Owners also appreciate the three large zippered doors for easy access and ventilation, the quality aluminum pole construction, and the included laundry line. The most common complaint is wind performance: multiple owners report the structure becoming unstable or collapsing in gusty conditions, and bent ridge poles are a recurring issue after wind events. Reviewers recommend using all guyout points in any breeze, and generally treat this as a fair-weather shelter best suited for calm conditions.
