About this product
The Mountain Hardwear Boundary Ridge Gore-Tex Bibs are built for women who push into backcountry terrain and demanding resort conditions alike. The shell is constructed from 3-layer GORE-TEX ePE fabric using a 75-denier recycled polyester face, delivering windproof, waterproof, and breathable performance with a durable water-repellent finish. A stretch-woven upper panel supports unrestricted movement, while a single three-quarter-length side zip allows easy entry over base layers. Dual thigh vents handle temperature regulation on the uptrack, and two front zippered thigh pockets plus gear loops keep essentials accessible. Internal gaiters with a hem cinch seal out snow around ski and snowboard boots, and 600-denier CORDURA kick patches protect high-wear zones from boot and edge abrasion. An integrated belt allows a personalized fit, and a jacket-to-pant loop connects with the Boundary Ridge Jacket for complete storm coverage. A RECCO reflector is integrated for added safety. The bibs weigh 792 grams and are made with Bluesign-approved recycled materials.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Boundary Ridge Gore-Tex Bibs for their exceptional waterproofing and durability, with the 3-layer Gore-Tex ePE fabric keeping wearers dry even in demanding backcountry and resort conditions. The reinforced Cordura kick patches, abundant pocket layout, stretch-woven upper panel, and integrated adjustable belt earn repeated compliments. The use of recycled Gore-Tex is also noted as a positive. The most common criticisms center on fit and entry design: taller women report the torso length runs short even at maximum strap extension, and several reviewers flag that the single-side drop-seat zipper and the need to lift straps over the head (rather than unclip them) make bathroom breaks inconvenient. The fabric, while protective, is noted by some as feeling more delicate than expected for a burly bib.
