About this product
The Rab Neutrino Pro 700 is a men's tapered mummy sleeping bag engineered for four-season alpine use, with a particular focus on fast-and-light winter mountaineering. It is filled with 700g of 800-fill-power European goose down, treated with a Nikwax fluorocarbon-free hydrophobic finish to resist moisture during extended cold-weather trips. The outer shell is 20D Pertex Quantum Pro recycled nylon ripstop (40gsm) with a fluorocarbon-free DWR coating, while the lining is 20D recycled nylon (38gsm). Chevron-shaped baffles reduce fabric use and limit down migration, and trapezoidal boxwall construction with a differential cut allows the down to fully loft and eliminates cold spots. A synthetic-filled zip baffle, adjustable neck baffle, and elasticated hood drawcord all work together to minimize heat loss. ISO EN 13537 ratings place the comfort threshold at -4°C (25°F) and the limit at -10°C (14°F). The Regular size fits users up to 185cm, weighs 1,142g, and packs to 40cm by 26cm. Each bag is hand-filled in Derbyshire, UK, and ships with a waterproof roll-top compression sack and a cotton storage sack.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Rab Neutrino Pro 700 for its outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio, calling it an excellent choice for winter alpinism and cold-weather mountaineering. The Pertex Quantum Pro shell earns repeated credit for resisting moisture and condensation in damp conditions, and users appreciate the snag-free zip, adjustable hood, and high-quality hand-filled construction. The most common criticism centers on the confusing temperature rating: Rab's advertised -15°C Sleep Limit sits well above the EN Comfort rating of -4°C and Comfort Limit of -10°C, and cold sleepers are cautioned to rely on the EN figures. The highly tapered mummy fit, while thermally efficient, may feel restrictive for broader-framed users.
