About this product
The Thule Approach Awning is designed specifically for use with the Thule Approach S or Approach M rooftop tent, extending shade and weather protection alongside the tent without requiring removal before setup. It zips directly into the rooftop tent, and aluminum poles are then raised and secured with guy lines to create a canopy that spans 13.3 feet in length and projects 7 feet outward. The maximum leg height reaches 8 feet, offering generous headroom beneath the shelter. Construction uses polyester fabric treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating to shed light rain and moisture. At 8 pounds 13 ounces, the awning is manageable for rooftop camping setups, and it packs into an included storage bag for transport. Stakes and tie-out lines are also included in the package. The SKU is THUZ3KV and the awning is sized to pair with both the S and M variants of the Approach tent lineup.
