The Big Agnes Lost Ranger 3N1 is a modular sleeping bag system designed for weekend camping and backpacking across a range of conditions. It consists of two separate bags that can be used independently or combined to achieve a 0°F (-18°C) temperature rating. The inner bag follows a Sidewinder mummy shape suited to side sleepers and is rated to 20°F on its own, while the semi-rectangular outer bag handles milder nights down to 45°F. When layered together, offset quilt construction prevents cold spots from forming between the two shells. Both bags use 650-fill DownTek insulation with a PFC-free water-repellent treatment, and the RDS-certified down is sourced responsibly. Shell fabrics throughout are 20D recycled polyester with PFAS-free water-repellent finishes. The outer bag integrates the PadLok Sleep System, including a Cinch Pad Sleeve and Pillow Barn, to keep the sleeper anchored to a sleeping pad. In the small size, the inner bag fill weight is 510 g and the combined system weighs 3 lb 5 oz, packing to 9 by 20 inches. Both a stuff sack and a mesh storage sack are included.
