The Black Diamond Impulse 104 Ti is a men's backcountry and freeride ski built for advanced intermediate riders tackling off-piste terrain in mixed and powder snow conditions. Available in three lengths (172, 179, and 186 cm), it features a sandwich construction with an engineered poplar wood core reinforced by pre-preg fibreglass for stability and rebound, plus a Titanal layer that improves power transfer and edging performance on firmer snow. The 104 mm waist (dimensions of 135-123-104 mm at 172 cm, scaling up to 137-124-104 mm at 186 cm) keeps turns nimble underfoot, while twin tip and tail rocker profiles deliver float and a surfy feel in deep snow. Camber underfoot adds precision when conditions demand it. Flat top construction and ABS sidewalls contribute stiffness and help absorb variable terrain. A low-angle tail with a cut-out simplifies skin attachment for uphill travel. Turning radius ranges from 17 m at 172 cm to 19 m at 186 cm, and packed weight starts at 3.66 kg for the shortest length. Made in Austria, bindings are not included.
