About this product
The NEMO Equipment Forte Endless Promise is a women's synthetic sleeping bag rated to 20F (-7C), built for three-season backcountry use and designed as part of NEMO's Endless Promise collection, which prioritizes mono-polymer construction so the bag can be fully recycled at end of life. The shell is a 30D 100% recycled polyester Bluesign-approved ripstop treated with a C0 DWR finish, while the lining uses a lighter 20D 100% recycled polyester ripstop with the same C0 DWR treatment. Inside, Zerofiber PCR synthetic insulation, made from 100% post-consumer recycled content, maintains loft and retains warmth even when wet. The Classic Spoon shape provides extra volume at the knees and shoulders, a practical benefit for side sleepers. Upgraded Thermo Gill vents use a multistage zipper system to broaden the usable temperature range and allow precise ventilation adjustments. A Blanket Fold draft collar and an integrated pillow pocket round out the comfort features. Packed weight is 1,740 g, and the bag compresses to 46 x 26 cm.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Classic Spoon shape as a standout feature, calling it a game-changer for side sleepers who find traditional mummy bags too restrictive. The buttery-soft fabrics, reliable warmth, and thoughtful details like the pillow pocket, Blanket Fold draft collar, and Thermo Gill vents earn frequent compliments. The sustainability angle, using 100% recycled materials and a take-back recycling program, is also well-regarded. The most common criticism is weight and bulk: being synthetic, it is heavier and less compressible than comparable down bags, making it better suited to car camping or basecamp use than ultralight backpacking. A few users note the zipper is right-side only, which some find limiting, and occasional reports suggest cold sleepers may want a liner to reliably hit the 20F rating.
