The Big Agnes Tiger Wall 3 Platinum is a semi-freestanding, double-wall, three-season tent built for backpacking and ultralight backpacking. It shelters three people within 38 square feet of floor space (88 x 66 to 60 inches) and reaches a maximum interior height of 42 inches, supported by a single DAC Featherlite NFL 9.3mm pole that creates a high-volume structure for generous headroom. The rainfly and floor use Big Agnes's proprietary HyperBead fabric, a 7D nylon ripstop with a PFAS-free waterproof coating rated to 1500mm, while the canopy combines 7D nylon ripstop with polyester mesh for ventilation. PU-taped seams add further weather protection. Two side doors each open to an 8-square-foot vestibule, and stake-supported foot corners help maximize usable interior space. Packed weight comes in at 2 pounds 9 ounces (907 g), with a trail weight of 2 pounds 5 ounces and a packed size of 19 x 5 inches. A fast-pitch setup weighing 1 pound 15 ounces is possible with the separately sold footprint. Reflective guylines and webbing improve visibility at night. Eight Dirt Dagger UL stakes are included.
