About this product
The Völkl Revolt 84 is a third-generation halfpipe ski developed in collaboration with Völkl's pro team, including athletes like Alex Ferreira and Kevin Rolland. At 186 cm with a 110-84-110 sidecut, the 84 mm waist sits three millimetres narrower than its sibling model, delivering more precise steering and a refined sidecut geometry. The Light Swingweight Woodcore, built from aspen and maple, shifts mass away from the tips and tail and concentrates it toward the center, making aerial rotations noticeably easier to initiate and control. Full camber runs the entire length of the ski, providing continuous tension and consistent edge engagement on hard pipe walls. The P-Tex 4504 base pairs with full sidewall and mini cap construction for durability and edge hold. Edge tuning comes set at 0.7 degrees base and 87.6 degrees side. Rated for professional, competitor, and expert riders, the Revolt 84 is optimized for maximum landing support, rotational balance, and gliding speed, with limited powder or butter performance, making it a purpose-built halfpipe tool.

What people are saying
Reviewers consistently praise the Völkl Revolt 84 as a top-tier park and halfpipe ski, highlighting its Light Swingweight wood core for excellent pop, low swing weight, and easy spin control. The full camber profile earns strong marks for edge hold and precision on hardpack and pipe walls, and the symmetrical twin shape makes switch skiing feel natural. The reinforced sidewall construction is noted for durability on rails and impacts. The most common criticism is limited versatility outside the park: at 84mm underfoot with minimal rocker, it struggles in chop, crud, and deeper snow, and is not recommended as a daily all-mountain driver.
